These terms govern your use of GitGrowly, a macOS app and its online service for drafting, checking, scheduling and publishing social posts ("GitGrowly", "we"). By downloading the app, starting a trial or buying a subscription, you agree to them. If you don't agree, don't use GitGrowly.
GitGrowly turns your work notes into post drafts with AI, checks them for AI-sounding phrasing, and can schedule and publish posts to Threads after you approve them. LinkedIn drafts are handed to LinkedIn's own composer; X support is not available yet. Drafts, notes and history are stored on your Mac. Drafting, Threads features and license checks need an internet connection and a GitGrowly account with a verified email.
New users can try GitGrowly free for 7 days. No payment details are needed to start the trial. When the trial ends, features that need the GitGrowly service require an active subscription. One trial per person.
You can cancel anytime from the link in your receipt email or by emailing us. Cancelling stops the next renewal; you keep access until the end of the period you've already paid for. Your local drafts stay on your Mac after a subscription ends.
If GitGrowly isn't right for you, email support@gitgrowly.com within 14 days of your first payment for a full refund. Refunds are issued through Lemon Squeezy to the original payment method. This doesn't limit any refund rights you have under the law where you live.
A subscription gives you a personal, non-transferable license to use GitGrowly on up to 2 Macs you own or control. You may not resell, share or sublicense your license, and you may not reverse engineer the app or the service, or use them to build a competing product. All rights not granted here are reserved.
Don't use GitGrowly for unlawful, harmful, deceptive or spam content, to impersonate others, to infringe anyone's rights, or to break the rules of Threads or other platforms. Don't automate or overload the service. Drafts are unlimited for normal personal use; we may contact or limit accounts with automated or unusually heavy usage.
Your notes, drafts and posts are yours. You give us only the rights needed to process them to provide the service, as described in the Privacy Policy. AI-generated drafts can be wrong or sound like other content: you are responsible for reviewing every draft and for everything you publish. GitGrowly only publishes a post after you click Post or Schedule and confirm.
GitGrowly works with services we don't control, including Threads (Meta), OpenAI, Firebase and Lemon Squeezy. Their availability, rules and terms apply to your use of them, and changes on their side can affect GitGrowly features. GitGrowly is not affiliated with Meta, Threads or LinkedIn.
You can disconnect Threads or delete your account from Settings at any time. Deleting your account doesn't cancel a subscription by itself; cancel it first so you aren't charged again. We may suspend or end access if you break these terms, don't pay, or to protect the service or comply with law.
GitGrowly is provided "as is". We work to keep it reliable, but we don't promise it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that posts will reach any particular audience or result. To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost profits or lost data, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for GitGrowly in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing here limits liability that can't be limited by law.
We may update these terms. For material changes we'll email you or notify you in the app before they take effect. Continuing to use GitGrowly after that means you accept the updated terms.
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Indonesia, without affecting mandatory consumer protections of the country where you live.
